The USS Drake has disappeared in the Lorenze Cluster, and the Enterprise is sent to the planet Minos to investigate. Minos is the home of arms dealers, and the ship receives an automated message inviting them to trade. Riker, Data and Tasha beam down and meet Captain Rice of the Drake, but soon realise he's a holographic replica. The Away Team is fired in by floating robots. Picard leads another Away Team to help - and the Enterprise comes under attack from orbital defences. Geordi withdraws the ship and separates the saucer section. Picard finds a computer which offers him the ultimate weapon - Echo Papa 607. Picard realises that this weapon wiped out its creator. He feigns interest in buying the weapon - and the deadly demonstration ends. The Enterprise arrives back at Minos and destroys the orbital defence mechanism.
