About Me

Hello, I am Kieron, the creator of this site. In this page, I will tell you a bit about myself. So here goes:

Well, as you have found out, my name is Kieron. I am 25 years old. I live in a town called Rochford in the South-East of England. My main hobbies/interests are working with computers, football (soccer), playing Final Fantasy games, and watching various Sci-Fi shows. I have followed Star Trek for quite a few years now, and I am sure I will continue to do the same in the future.

History Of My Site

I first decided to create a Star Trek based website in 1998. My first attempt was a disaster, mainly because I had no idea what I was really doing. After a bit of research, I started again on a joint site with my friend at college. This was going quite well. After a while he decided he didn't want to carry on anymore, so I carried on with the site on my own. Things were going well until my account was hacked into, and the whole site was deleted, and destroyed. This hit me really hard, as I had spent many hours working on it. I almost decided NEVER to make another site again. That was in 1998.  By the time I had got to my second year at college in 1999, I decided to try and make a new site. My workload was heavier than ever, and the site was going along very slowly. Added to the fact that every time I stored files on my college file area on the computer, the ICT people deleted them. After a long while, the structure of the site was finally finished. This was about Spring 2000. People liked it, and so did I. Then disaster struck, again. I decided to add some fancy stuff to the site. Now I wish I didn't. It completed messed the site up, and I had no way to retrieve it. Things were put on hold for a while until after I had finished college in the Summer of 2000. In about September of the same year. I decided to try again. This time I hoped it would work. I opened up an account with Tripod, built the site, moved location a few times,  and here is the finished article.....well not quite finished, but hey! In my view this is by far my best attempt at creating a site. And to this day, I only have a very minimal amount of HTML writing knowledge. Hopefully, in time, I will gain more HTML knowledge to make this site one of the best on the Internet.

June 2008 Update: Since I put up the 2007 update, all I have achieved was the re-capping of the movie screencaps. The main tasks for the rest of the year are to severely cut out a lot of of caps from Star Trek Nemesis so that the caps aren't too similar to each other. The other task I have laid out for myself is to carry on with the episode pages for The Next Generation. I am currently part way through Season 2, but I am confident that I will be able to move along in good time. I hardly get any spare time these days to do any updates, but I WILL get things done as soon as I can!
